* DINGWELT wins art award

The concept for the exchange market „DINGWELT“ won a second prize at the 3rd Recycling Kunstpreis 2003 in Herford, Germany. The prize was dedicated to the topic "the hidden sense of things thrown away".

The speakers at the ceremony were: Jan Hoet (MARTa museum Herford, , Germany, S.M.A.K . Gent, Belgium), Dr. Birgit Schulte (Karl Ernst Osthaus-Museum, Hagen, Germany), Lieselore Curländer (Councillor, Herford county, Germany) and Udo Holtkamp (Recycling-Börse Herford, Germany).

From 27 July until 29 July the digital work [SOFT TOY "MÜMMY" * unwashed] from the “DINGWELT” project was shown in an installation at an exhibition that took place on the impressing Frank O. Gehry building site of the new MARTa museum Herford, Germany.
